Stephen Z. Fadem, M.D., FACP, FASN
Dr. Fadem is a practicing Houston nephrologist. He
began practice in 1978 after completing a renal fellowship at The University
of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He is a graduate of the
University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, and did his internal medicine
residency at The University of Texas and MD Anderson Hospital in Houston.
He is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of medicine. Dr. Fadem is the recipient of the Peter Lundin Award for his contributions to patient education, and the AAKP Visionary Award for his accomplishments in developing CKD education initiatives. He has been named as one of America's Top Doctors by Castle Connolly. Formerly from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dr. Fadem is married and has three children.

Wasae Tabibi, M.D.
Dr. Wasae Tabibi began practice in 1996, and joined Kidney Associates, PLLC the following year. He has been active in clinical practice and has been involved in several research projects with Kidney Associates.

Joey Buquing, M.D.
Dr. Joey Buquing received his medical education at Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, and the University of the Philippines. He then trained at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and completed his renal fellowship at Mount Sinai Medicine Center in New York. He joined Kidney Associates in 1996, where he has been active in clinical practice.

Han Dang, M.D.
Dr. Han Dang is currently practicing in Houston as a Nephrologist. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas in Austin and obtained a Master of Public Health degree at the University of Texas-School of Public Health. He is a graduate of University of Texas-Houston Medical School and did his internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship at the University of Texas in Houston. Dr. Dang is married and has a daughter.

Dana Mitchell, M.D.
Dr. Dana Mitchell is a practicing nephrologist in Houston, TX. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University Medical School and completed an internal medicine residency also at LSU. She completed nephrology fellowship training at University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2006 where she had the opportunity to study Fabry's disease under Dr. David Warnock.

Ruth Wintz, M.D., FASN
Dr. Wintz graduated from the University of Texas, then attended Baylor College of Medicine. She did her intership and residency, as well as her renal fellowship at the University of California at Los Angeles. She is the recipient of the Coleman Caplowitz award for outstanding performance while at Baylor, and graduated both college and medical school with top honors. She has been named one of America's Top Doctors by the Consumer Research Counsel. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and at Weil Cornell Medical College.
Dr. Abdulhayoglu graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine, received his internal medicine training at the University of Pittsburgh and completed his renal fellowship at The University of Michigan. In addition to his boards in Internal medicine and Nephrology, he is board certified for Hemodialysis Vascular Access and is a member of the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology. Additionally, he has a Masters degree in Business Administration.

Amanda Basford, M.D.
Dr Basford is the newest doctor to join Kidney Associates. She did her renal fellowship at Vanderbilt, after completing her medical school and residency training at Baylor College of Medicine.

Cassie Brown, P.A.C.
Catherine Brown has more than 15 years of experience in nephrology and has been the Certified Physician Assistant for Kidney Associates, PLLC since 1994. A Houston native, Catherine graduated from the Univerity of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center's Physician Assistant Studies Program in 1988 after completing her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M. She is married and has three daughters.
